Patty Koepke

I graduated from UW-Eau Claire in 2008 with a Bachelors in Social Work. After college, I worked at a nursing home in Eau Claire as a Rehabilitation Social Worker. Always knowing I wanted to come back home, I was offered a position at a nursing home in the area as the Director of Social Services and returned to my hometown. I then began a journey with Taylor County Human Services in the long term support unit working with the geriatric and physically disabled population. I worked as a Case Manager working with people in their homes to assist them with keeping their independence for as long as possible. I also worked on Guardianships and Adult Protective Services. After five years with Human Services I came across the opportunity to come to The Homeplace of Dorchester and was delighted to take this new role. I have always had a passion working with Dementia and the challenges that can present. I love to find alternative methods for helping people and ensuring they have a quality of life no matter their challenge.

On behalf of the entire Josephine Zais (Josie) and the Zais…

On behalf of the entire Josephine Zais (Josie) and the Zais family, I want to thank the entire staff for the excellent care mom recieved during her 3 years at your facility. It appeared to us that mom was aways treated as if she was the staff's mother and each staff member provided the care they felt their mom would want and need. Mom was always treated with comfort, kindness and respect. We were foutunate in that mom accepted the move to the HOMEPLACE and this was primarily because of the staff's caring and always professional attitude. I would highly recommend the HOMEPLACE for any individual who has reached a point of needing assisted living or even their new accommodation with various levels of service available. The other recommendation is to remain involved with your relative and the staff. The staff was always willing to discuss mom's health and provide whatever services deemed necessary. Thanks to all at The HOMEPLACE. Mom's 3+ years were great and her familyhad a great deal of comfort knowing she was being taken care of as she was. Don Zais Don Zais
